Crochet this beautiful granny square with a simple and easy border. This granny square is beginner friendly and works up quickly using two simple crochet stitches.

Starting Instructions:
Slip knot: Make a loop, then hook another loop through it.
Tighten gently and slide the knot up on the hook.
Chain stitch: Yo draw through loop (ch1).
Slip stitch: Step 1: Insert hook in st, Step 2: yo pull yarn
through st and loop on hook, Sep 3: repeat from step 1 for required number of
sts.
Base Ring: Step 1: Make a ch of required number of sts, Step
2: insert hook in first ch, Step 3: yo pull yarn through st and loop on hook.
Stitch Instructions:
Double Crochet:
Step 1: Yo insert hook into st, Step 2: Yo pull yarn through two loops on hook, Step 3: yo pull through two loops on hook, Step 3: Yo pull yarn through two loops on hook, Step 4: Yo insert hook into next st, repeat from step 2 for required number of sts.
Treble Crochet:
Step 1: Yo the yarn on hook two times, insert hook into st,
pull up a loop, Step 2: yo pull yarn through first two loops, Step 3: yo pull
through the next two loops, Step 4: you pull through the last two loops, repeat
from step 1-4 for required number of sts.
Ending Instructions:
Tie off: Step 1: cut the yarn leave a few inches of yarn for weaving, Step 2: With hook pull the tail through the loop on your hook, Step 3: remove hook on tail to tighten.
Weave ends: Step 1: turn project on wrong side, Step 2: insert hook through sts Step 3: grab yarn and weave it back through until tail is not seen.

Base Ring: Slip knot, ch 3, join with sl st.
Round 1: ch 3 (counts as 1 dc) 2dc into ring ch 2, 3 dc into
base ring ch 2, 3 dc into base ring ch 2, 3dc into base ring ch 2.
Round 2: Join with sl st. ch2 (counts as 1 dc) 2dc into
corner space ch 2, 3dc into corner space ch 2, (this completes the first corner
space) Repeat 3dc ch2, 3dc ch 2 into the remainder corner spaces, join with sl
st into ch3.
Round 3:
(Side: 1) Sl st over each dc (3) to reach the corner space ch
3 (counts as 1 tr), 2tr into corner space,3tr into each dc (3), 2tr into space,
3tr into each dc (3) ch 2.
(Side: 2,3) 2tr into space,3tr into each dc (3), 2tr in
space, 3tr into each dc (3), 2tr into space, 3tr into each dc (3) ch2.
(Side 4) 2tr into space,3tr into each dc (3), 2tr in space, 3tr into each dc (3), 2tr into space, 2tr into each dc (2) join with slip stitch into ch3 and tie off.
